♠︎ Past story-

Four Months ago Yashveer came back from Haryana after that important project which he had to look after with his dad.

After taking complete rest for 2 months he got his name enrolled at St. Xavier's College to pursue B.Arch course.

♠︎ Present-

It was 1:30 a.m. at night.

While he was scrolling a message popped on his screen which was none other than his sister , Adhira.

Ira 💕 - Bhaii can you plzz bring me some pani purii 😋. I'm on my periods and I'm craving for that. 🥲

Veer bhai 😈 - Ohk Ira madam, as you wish. But don't you think last week also you had your periods and craving for ice creams?? 🤨

Ira 💕 - Offoo bhaii 🤦🏻‍♀️ you ask too many questions. Bhaiii plzzz bring it na. I really want to eat. This is last, I promise plz plz. 🥺

Veer bhai 😈- I have ordered it, wait in your room. I'll bring it. 😏🫡

Ira 💕 - Thankyou so much bhaii. You are the best bhaii. I love you so muchhh🥰❤️

After sometime,

While Adhira was watching a movie, her room door opened and Yashveer entered the room with a bag of pani puri.

Adhira quickly took the bag, peeking inside she saw a cup of chocolate ice cream too.

"Bhaiiiiiii, thankyou soo soo much. I really wanted to eat ice cream thankyou bhai" she hugged Yashveer and sat on bed to eat pani puri.

Yashveer looked at her with love in his eyes "Acha don't wake till late night, finish all this and sleep"

Adhira nodded, her mouth too full to speak anyting.

Seeing his sister enjoying her pani puri, Yashveer smiled and came back to his room. It was 2a.m. at night and he decided to get a good sleep.

Next Morning....

Yashveer's POV

I jolted awake, when cold water was splashed on my face, I quickly sat on my bed when I realised, this was another trick of Ira to wake me.

I saw her laughing at me like a child, who just saw something too funny in her favourite cartoon episode.

Well, I had other plans. I took the jug kept on my side table and threw the water on her face.

Soon her smiling face was drenched with water and just a minute later my dad was in my room, consoling her and glaring me as if I have broken her favourite lipstick.

By the time they left room, I saw it was already 8:15 and my classes were from 9. So I quickly rushed to the bathroom, brushing, bathing, wearing clothes, setting my hair, altogether and by 8:30 I was ready.

(I know I'm multitaskter, hehehehehehe)

I reached downstairs and saw my family having breakfast.

I went to mom giving her a side hug "Good Morning mom, good morning dad"

As usual, my father replied with nod.

"Good Morning Veer beta, come sit, have your breakfast." mom gave me the prettiest smile.

"No mom I'm already late"

"But beta..." before she could say anything further, I grabbed a sandwich from the table and took a bite.

"I'm eating mom" Showing her my sandwich, I grinned and left for my college but not before ruffling Ira's hairs because it irritates her a lot.

But teasing is my love language. She whined like a child "Dadddd, see na he is messing my hair" but I kissed her head and came out.

I came out, and saw my bullet parked near the gate. Starting my royal enfield. I reached college just two minutes before the gates were closed.

I started searching for my class, but accidentally I hit someone. When I saw, it was some aged man, maybe a professor here.

"Sorry sir" I said in the politest tone, because maybe it was my fault too.

He nodded like my father and asked me "Do you have any issue?"

I was surprised by his sudden question but decided to answer. "Sir today is my first day and I can't find my class"

He again nodded, arghhhh these men and their habit of just nodding. "What course have you taken?" he asked again.

"Sir I'm a B.Arch student 3rd year" and this time I knew, another nod was coming.

And there we go, he nodded again to my answer.

"That's on the other side of this college, not here"

"Ok" This time I nodded just like him, and went on my way to find class. HUhh I'm also a man, I can nod too. I already don't like this man.

But what was the need to change the classes for seniors. I don't know whatever it was, my only goal was to find my class as soon as possible.

After searching for 5 more minutes, I finally found my class.

When I entered the class I saw that same professor who nodded at me for three times. So I guess he was my English Literature because that's the only subject I took new this year.

He glanced at me but said nothing, so I moved towards the benches and I sat behind at last row because all seats were full.

The classes continued till 12 noon, until lunch break. By this time I was feeling hungry, so I got up with my bag and went to the canteen.

There I ordered some french fries, fried rice and a hot coffee.

I was feeling a bit bored today because I wasn't used to this silence, being this alone but my partner was absent, I don't know what he does but he is absent for most of the time.

After taking my order, I came to a table and was about to sit when I saw some note books, sketches and a baby pink bag, with charms, and cute teddy on it.

(Guys guess, whose bag is this)

Thinking that the table was taken by girls, I moved to another table.

While eating, I checked my phone and a saw message from the only girl in my life.

Ira 💕- Bhaii send me some pics of your college.

So, I clicked few pics of canteen, my food, then campus, my classroom and sent to Adhira.

Rest of the day passed soon, in busy classes, lectures and finally the college was over. I was tired or maybe exhausted, soon I reached the parking area, took my bullet and headed to home.

"Mom, I'm home" The first thing, when I enter home is to call my mom.

Coming out from the kitchen, with a plate of chopped fruits she came to me "Veer, you have come. Go get fresh. I'll set your lunch"

"Ohk Mom" I gave a light kiss on her head and headed towards my room.

I was about to enter my room, when I heard loud music from Ira's room. Mine and Ira's room are next to each other. Though our rooms are sound proof, but obviously madam has a habit to open window and to listen music on full volume.

She must be again busy dancing like a mad monkey.

Well, she is my little cute monkey.

I went inside, freshened up, took a shower, changed clothes and came downstairs.

While eating, I was searching for some notes, when someone snatched my phone from my hands.

I alredy knew who it was.

"Mommmm, I was searching something important"

But giving me the sweetest smile she said "First eat beta, it's been whole day. You must be hungry"

"But mom I ate in the canteen" I told her so she doesn't stress about me. But nope, she took it another way.

"Oh so now you are comparing my food to that canteen" My brain stopped working for one whole minute. I mean, when did I say that.

"No mommmm, your food is the best. I'm telling that I wasn't hungry the whole day" I said giving her a smile, hoping she will not think much about it.

"It's ok beta, but first eat it then you can search all you want" saying this she took my phone and went into the kitchen.

After having my lunch, I again went to my room but this time no noice was coming from Ira's room, maybe she was resting.

Entering my room, suddenly I started feeling sleepy. Obviously mom's magic in the food. So I thought of taking a nap before starting to study.

But this time I locked my room, so that I don't have to wake up being soaked in cold water again.

Hardly it had been ten minutes, when there was a loud knock on my door. Then I heard Ira shouting from outside, urging me to open the door.

I groaned and rubbed my eyes, then got up from the bed and went to the door.

I opened it and she almost pushed her phone into my eyes, "Bhai I want this bag." She said in a final tone.

"But I can't see any bag Ira" holding her phone away from my eyes.

When I properly looked at the picture, it was from my canteen but there was no bag, there were people, food.

When I asked her "Whick bag Ira?" She zoomed the pic and showed me the same pink bag I saw there.

Well yeah it was cute and when I looked at Ira she was already looking at me with those puppy eyes, trying her best to make me say YES.

"But Ira..." I was cut by her, "Please bhaii please please. Look at it na, its so cute and I liked the colour too. Please bhaiii"

I sighed trying again to say somethinng "But listen to me Ira...."

"No buts, please buy it na" She again cut me off and made a cute face.

So this time I took her phone, locked it and asked her "Where will you use this bag Ira? Do you go to any classes? Any college? Any school?"

When I asked her this, she was lost in deep thoughts and I knew something unexpected was coming.

"Offooo bhaii, I will keep it with me, click pics and then you can use it for your classes. Like this you will have a variety too"

I was shocked, from where this girl is getting these ideas. But I know she is like this, little monkey.

"First think about joining some classes or a college then I'll buy you this bag, so you can use it somewhere" saying this I showed her the way out of my room and locked the door.

Finally my nap time.

I drifted off to sleep. Then woke up after one hour, washed my face, ate some fruits and started studying whatever was taught today.

Soon it was dinner time. So I got up from my chair, closing all the notebooks, books and headed downstairs towards the dining a area.

It was large area, though we were only four people but there was kept a big wooden dining table in the middle surrounded by wooden chairs. All designed with carvings. There was a big chandelier above the table specially bought from France. But what was special about it was the hidden cameras inside it.

On reaching, i noticed dad was not there so I asked Ira where he was. "Where's dad Ira?"

"Mumma told, he will be coming late tonight" she said showing a smile.

"And where's mom?" This time Ira looked at me, as if I already knew the answer.

Well yeah I know, mom and dad will eat together.

So I hummed in response.

Soon the dinner was over with little talks, I shared about my first day as a senior, the professor and many more then came back to room and decided to study a little more.

Ayra's POV

Soon the teacher entered the class and started teaching with some basics. Lectures after lectures finally the lunch break started.

I was having a headache and felt sleepy but next classes was my father's so I can't take any risk by looking less interested. I decided to drink some coffee.

I picked up my bag, and went towards the canteen. Finding an empty table, I kept my notebooks and bag on the table and went to order a hot coffee.

Paying for my coffee, I picked it up and came towards my table. Resumed writing further dialogues of my story. The break was over after 30-40 minutes and I headed back to my class.

Finally all the lectures were over and I waited for dad outside his office to come and take us back to the home.

He came out after sometime, "Aree beta, why were waiting oustide. You should have come inside" he said walking towards the parking area.

"Its ok dad, I was fine" I replied with a small tired smile.

We reached parking area, get into the car and "By the way how was your day beta" dad asked looking at the road.

"It was good dad, but I'm tired" I sighed telling him the truth. He smiled in response and caressed my hair.

After sometime we reached home and when I entered, the first thing I realised was Coco in my arms already licking my face.

"Ok ok babyyyy, I'm not going anywhere now. Awwwww my baby missed me so much? Hmmmmm?"

"Mumma, I'm going to my room to get freshened up"

Saying this, I went to my room with Coco still in my arms. Then I changed my clothes, washed my face, checked my phone. All this time, Coco was looking at me with those big round eyes like it was his hobby to adore me.

I picked up my baby and went downstairs to have some lunch, then studied and revised whatever was taught.

Dinner time came soon and we all gathered at the dining table.

"How was your day?" Mumma asked me while mixing the rice with dal.

"It was good mumma" I said passing a tired smile to her.

"What do you think, how does your dad taught today?" Mom again asked me briefly looking at my dad.

"He was good, I didn't have much doubts regarding his subject" I replied honestly.

Listening this, dad grinned at mumma.

The dinner was over with light talks and some playful banter between mumma and dad.

I came to room and sat on my study table, hoping to revise for last time. The time passed so quickly, I didn't realise until my headache started.

I looked at the clock and it was around one at night, closing all the books and copies I turned off the lamp and jumped on my bed.

Took my bedsheet and tucked myself safely under it, I was relaxed, relieved and somewhere happy. Though I don't have friends right now but atleast I'm not bullied anymore.

People here are busy in their own world, no one cares, no one notices too much, no one judges, few may give a look but it doesn't harm. This feels like peace, I'm already liking my college days.

Thinking about everything, I didn't realised when I drifted off to sleep.
